Funeral Services for Mrs. Yvonne Reed Cooke, age 85, were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 17, 2021, in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home in Alamo, TN. Bobby Rawson officiated the service and burial followed at Cairo Cemetery.
Mrs. Yvonne passed away, Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Alamo Nursing Home and Rehab where she once worked in the cafeteria. She was born on August 6, 1936, to the late Mack Reed and Ola Davidson Reed, in Memphis, TN. Mrs. Yvonne was a member of the Alamo Church of Christ, in Alamo, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Mack Reed and Ola Davidson Reed; brothers, Wallace Reed, Odie Kelly, J.W. Kelly, Wilmer Kelly, L.V. Reed, L.M. Reed, Lennis Reed, and Merion Harmon Reed; sister, Ella Mansfield.
Mrs. Yvonne is survived by her daughters, Meschell Moore (Jimmy Don), Susan Matthews, Donna Hudson (Marlon); grandchildren, Charles Matthews, Kathleen Matthews, Camille Robinson, Dalton Hudson, John Daniel Moore; great grandchildren, Austin Mayfield, Blake Mayfield, Emilee Mayfield, Jaime Stinnett, Rodrick Shelton, Danni Matthews, Jayne Matthews.
Visitation for family and friends was Saturday, October 17, 2021, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Ronk Funeral Home.
