Elia Jane Bell

Elia Jane Bell was born November 21, 1928 in Friendship, Tennessee. She attended Carson Newman College, then University of Tennessee for a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Her career was dedicated to Social Services and children. She is the longest standing member of Woodmont Baptist Church in Nashville.
Jane was devoted to her family and those she loved. She was guided by positivity and prayer. Jane spent her last years living at NHC Place at the Trace. She loved the family she cultivated there and served as an Ambassador and delivered the facility mail at age 94.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents Lillian and Hunter Bell and sister-in-law Joyce Taylor Bell. She is survived by her brother James (Jimmy) Bell. She is also survived by Goddaughter Laura Clark (Steven), and granddaughters Sara Clemmons (James), Emily Solinger (Stefan), loving cousins and her NHC family.
There was a visitation Tuesday March 21, 2023 from 11:30 am until the Celebration of Life 1:30 pm all held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home in the Nashville area.
