Ms. Iris Elaine Vaughn, age 82, of River Forest, IL passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House of Memphis, TN. Ms. Vaughn was born July 2, 1940, in Dyersburg, TN. She is the daughter of the late Stanley and the late Ida Belle (Arthur) Vaughn.
She was a retired school teacher.
She is survived by two sisters Glada Vaughn of Oak Park, IL and Judy (Jerry) Malpede of Arlington Heights, IL. She also leaves four special cousins: Liam Fisher- Stallings,
Emma Love Stallings, Kady Belle Stallings, and Elizabeth Gladys Stallings.
Ms. Iris was preceded in death by her sister Coreene Vaughn.
A graveside service will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, August 11 at Floyd’s Chapel Cemetery, with Bro Jimmy Clendenin officiating.
