NOTICE OF TRUSTEE’S SALE

The Northwest TN Development District’s Area Agency on Aging and Disability will receive proposals for In-Home services (Personal Care, Homemaker and In-home Respite). The AAAD contracts for services in Benton, Carroll, Crockett, Dyer, Gibson, Henry, Lake, Obion and Weakley Counties. The purpose of this meeting is to present information to the public on the FY 2022 Community Development Block Grant Program.  Concerned citizens are encouraged to attend and comment on possible activities.

CHILD FIND

The Crockett County, Bells, and Alamo School Systems are conducting a “Child Find” for children ages 3-21 who have special educational needs.  Child Find is required by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 1997, and the state of Tennessee.  Children who have, or are suspected of having special needs may be eligible to receive free services.  The services will include an evaluation for the child’s suspected needs and special services based on the identified needs which could include speech/language therapy, vision services, services for the hearing impaired, cognitive impairments, and those with learning disabilities. 

If you know of a child that needs special services, call the Special Education Department at your local school or contact the principal of a school in your area.  Anyone can refer a child.
