Sealed Proposals will be received by the City of Bells, Tennessee, for collection and disposal of residential and commercial solid waste at City Hall, 12984 Hwy 79, Bells, Tennessee 38006, on or before June 29th at 9:00 a.m., C.D.T. The envelope containing the proposal must be sealed and plainly marked "Proposal for Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Service".
Proposals must be made on the Proposal Forms and in accordance with Instructions to Bidders furnished by the City of Bells.
The defined terms appearing in the General Specifications apply to all Contract Documents. Copies of the Proposal Forms are attached hereto.
A proposal bond or certified check must accompany the Proposal, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals regarding the collection and disposal of solid waste, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any Proposal, and to make an award in any manner, consistent with law, deemed in the best interest of the Town.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated Section 13-7-105, notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the Crockett County Commission at 6:30 PM on Monday, the 20th day of July, 2026 in the Crockett County Court House. The hearing is to receive public input on a proposed zoning map amendment.
The zoning map amendment would zone a property located on U.S. Highway 412 (Tax Map 75, Parcels 29.00) from FAR (Forestry-Agricultural-Residential) to R-MH (Residential-Mobile Home). The request is being made by property owner, Crystal Buckner.
Any interested party is invited to appear before the Crockett County Commission and be heard in objection or in favor of the adoption, thereof. A copy of the amendment is available for public examination in the Office of the County Mayor during normal business hours.
