ORDER ALLOWING SERVICE BY PUBLICATION
This matter came before the court upon the Plaintiff’s Motion for Service by Publication pursuant to TCA § 21-1-203 and TCA § 21-1-204. It appears from the allegations of the Complaint in this cause, the Motion for Service by Publication and statements made in court that Roxie Williams, David Blagg, and the unknown heirs of Charlie Williams cannot be served with ordinary process at law as, after diligent inquiry by the Plaintiff of the whereabouts of the said Defendants, their whereabouts cannot be ascertained.
It is therefore ORDERED the Chancellor has decreed that Roxie Williams, David Blagg, and all unknown heirs of Charlie Williams shall enter an appearance thirty (30) days after the last publication of this Order and file an answer to the Complaint, or judgment by default shall be taken against said Defendants for the relief demanded in the Complaint. The same shall be served on the Plaintiff’s counsel in the address below. A copy of this Order shall be published for four consecutive weeks in The Crockett County Times, located at 40 S. Court St., Alamo, TN 38001.

NOTICE OF SALE OF REAL ESTATE
WHEREAS, by Deed of Trust dated April 30, 2009, and recorded on May 7, 2009, in the Register's Office of Crockett County, Tennessee, in Trust Deed Book 255, Page 403 ("Trust Deed"), James S. Smith and wife, Vicky Y. Smith conveyed to Travis Edmondson, Trustee, the real estate therein described, to secure the payment of certain indebtedness therein described; and
WHEREAS, default has been made in the payment of the indebtedness secured by the Trust Deed, and FirstBank, the lawful holder of the indebtedness, has declared the entire balance due and payable; and
WHEREAS, Adam C. Crider was appointed Successor Trustee by instrument appearing of record in Trust Deed Book 370, Page 638 in the Register's Office of Crockett County, Tennessee.
NOW, THEREFORE, notice is hereby given that on September 23, at 10:00 a.m., at the west door of the Courthouse in Alamo, Crockett County, Tennessee, I will sell to the last, highest and best bidder for cash and in bar of equity of redemption, statutory right of redemption, homestead, dower, elective or distributive share and all other exemptions of every kind, all of which were expressly waived in the Trust Deed, the following real estate, lying and being in Crockett County, Tennessee, and more particularly described as follows:
The property described on Deed of Trust of record in Trust Deed Book 255, page 403, in the Register's Office of Crockett County, Tennessee.
No opinion is rendered by the Successor Trustee as to the accuracy of the legal description.
The street address of the property is 2588 Walter Taylor Rd., Friendship TN 38034 and the property is shown as Map 014 Parcel 012.01 in the Crockett County Tax Assessor's Office.
Said property will be sold by me as Successor Trustee only and subject to any unpaid taxes and assessments and all valid restrictions, covenants or easements, if any, of record on said property, and subject to any and all other liens having priority over the Trust Deed. The Successor Trustee reserves the right to make oral announcements at the time of the public sale which shall apply to the terms of the sale. It is the duty of your Grand Jury to investigate any public offense, which they have reason to believe has been committed and which is triable or indictable in this county. Any person having knowledge or proof that such an offense has been committed may apply to testify before the Grand Jury subject to the provisions of Tennessee Code Annotated, section 40-12-014. The foreman of the Crockett County Grand Jury is presently Jule Nance, 549 E. Park St. P.O. Box 311, Alamo, Tennessee 38001.
The Grand Jury will next meet on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 9:00 am. You may be prosecuted for perjury for any oral or written statement which you make under oath to the Grand Jury, when you know the statement to be false or when the statement touches on a matter material to the point in question.
