NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated Section 13-7-105, notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the Crockett County Commission at 6:30 PM on Monday, the 18th day of May, 2026 in the Crockett County Court House. The hearing is to receive public input on a proposed zoning map amendment.
The zoning map amendment would zone properties located on U.S. Highway 412 (Tax Map 88, Parcels 39.00 & 58.02) from FAR (Forestry-Agricultural-Residential) to C-2 (General Commercial). The request is being made by prospective property owner, Regen Thornton and property owner Rodney Hopper, respectively.
Any interested party is invited to appear before the Crockett County Commission and be heard in objection or in favor of the adoption, thereof. A copy of the amendment is available for public examination in the Office of the County Mayor during normal business hours.
