{"id":15688,"date":"2023-03-14T12:12:24","date_gmt":"2023-03-14T17:12:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/crockettcountytimes.com\/?p=15688"},"modified":"2023-03-14T12:12:32","modified_gmt":"2023-03-14T17:12:32","slug":"joyce-kinzer-archibald","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crockettcountytimes.com\/joyce-kinzer-archibald\/","title":{"rendered":"Joyce Kinzer Archibald"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Joyce Kinzer Archibald, age 84, of Alamo, Tenn., formerly of Maury City, Tenn. and Memphis, Tenn., passed away on March 5, 2023 after a brief illness.&nbsp; She leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Gordon Archibald; her son Richard Archibald of Collierville, Tenn.; her daughter Cindy Akin of Cordova, Tenn.; and four grandchildren, James and Michael Archibald, and Ashley and Chris Akin.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Kate Kinzer of Crockett County, Tenn., and her siblings Peggy (Kinzer) Land, Bobby Kinzer and Jerry Kinzer.&nbsp; She also leaves behind many great friends.<br>Throughout her life, she enjoyed boating, water skiing, dancing, tending to her flower gardens and lawn, cooking delicious southern food, sewing, reading novels, and working crossword and Sudoku puzzles.&nbsp; She was also a star basketball player at Maury City High School.&nbsp;<br>Visitation for family and friends will be held on March 11, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Ronk Funeral Home, 106 S.
