Graveside services for Emily Marie Worthington, 78, were held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 3rd at Providence Cemetery with Rev. Zack Wylie officiating. Mrs. Worthington, the widow of Larry D. Worthington passed away Monday, October 31st at her residence. She was born in Alamo, TN daughter of the late Doyle and Moreva Priddy Emison and had lived her entire life in the community. She was a devoted member of Providence Baptist Church serving as a Sunday School teacher for many years. She is survived by a daughter, Tammie Hood (Cary)of Akron, Ohio, a son, Danny Worthington (Jana) of Metropolis, IL, grandchildren, Victoria Cooksey (Anthony), Neyland Worthington, Tiffany Royko (Steven), great grandchildren, Avelyn Cooksey, Macklin Cooksey and Myles Royko. Pallbearers who served were Danny Worthington, Neyland Worthington, Steven Royko, Cary Hood, Anthony Cooksey and Jim Knox.
