Fifteen students attending&nbsp;<strong>four different schools<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>in Jackson<\/strong>&nbsp;received scholarships averaging $2,500\/each! \u201cStudent Award Center gives [West, TN] students the opportunity to choose the best school for them.\u201d &#8211; Tania H. (22-23 Scholarship Recipient) Student Award Center is a new 501c3 nonprofit organization in Jackson, TN. \u201cDonating to Student Award Center invests in the future of West Tennessee.\u201d \u2013 Addison S. (22-23 Scholarship Recipient). They provide scholarships for families across West Tennessee to allow them to choose the best educational (K-12) option for their child and their needs. \u201cWe\u2019re providing equal opportunity education to all families from all walks of life\u201d, says Executive Director, Katie McGill, \u201cand we know that if each child has the best education for them we all have a bright future ahead.\u201d Student Award Center has a 2023 goal of raising $150,000 to continue supporting students across West Tennessee.
