Veterans Day programs

Veterans across the county will be celebrated today in multiple locations in the community.

Gadsden Elementary School will honor their students veterans during their 7:45 a.m. morning announcements.

Crockett County High School will host their annual veterans breakfast beginning at 8 a.m., followed by a program in the gymnasium at 9 a.m.

Alamo City School and Bells Elementary School will both host their annual veterans program at 1:30 p.m.

The Crockett County Veterans Memorial Association will host its annual Veterans Day program at the Memorial on Court Square in Alamo at 3 p.m. The memorial has recently had 27 names added to it that will be read during the ceremony.

All veterans and one guest can end their day with a free meal at Bob's Burgers Pasta and Pizza in Bells from 5 to 8 p.m. The dinner is hosted by the Crockett County Veterans Service Association.
