Sweetheart Couple Spotlight: The Chapmans

Posted

For our “Sweetheart Couple Feature,” we asked the community to nominate the sweetest couple in Crockett County—and we have a winner! Congratulations to our second featured couple, Frogg Andrew Chapman and Megan Powell Chapman.

The Chapmans, both Crockett County natives, have been together for 15 years. They met years ago through mutual friends and immediately hit it off! Their first date included a trip to the movies followed by dinner. Megan recalls that it felt like they had known each other their entire lives.

Together, they have two children. Andrew works as a Tool & Die Group Leader, while Megan is a Family Nurse Practitioner. They are also very active in their church, Cross Roads Baptist Church.

Megan shares her advice on finding "the one," saying, “Find a partner in life who loves the Lord and will support, love, and pray for you through both your best and hardest days.”

Megan loves that Andrew leads their family with a servant’s heart, while Andrew admires Megan’s quirky and fun personality, as well as the way she always encourages him to do his best.

Their key to a long-lasting marriage? “Make God’s presence the center of your marriage and implement the three C’s of a loving, lasting, happy marriage: commitment, communication, and consistency.”

The Chapmans are honored to have been nominated as one of the Sweetheart Couples and have taken this opportunity to reflect on what makes their marriage successful and stronger each day.
