Funeral services for Ritchie Lloyd Cooke were held on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Ronk Funeral Home with Bobby Rawson officiating.
Ritchie Lloyd Cooke age 65 passed away June 20, 2020 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born April 4, 1955 to his late parents, Harry Denton Cooke and Jewell Phillips Cooke. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sherry Via Cooke.
Surviving relatives include his daughters, Candace Stanford (Dwight) of Alamo, Carrie Cooke Chambers (Dexter) of Gallatin; sister, Charlotte Cooke Lowe of Alamo; and grandchildren, Hanna Grace Stanford, Carson Rich Stanford, and Denton Bear Chambers.
Ritchie worked as a mechanic all of his life. Even after retirement, he enjoyed working on cars. Above all, he loved his family in particular his grandchildren who affectionately called him “Dee”. Ritchie was a man of faith and maintained hope until the end.
Pallbearers for the service were: Dwight Stanford, Carson Stanford, Dexter Chambers, Heath Davis, Junior Phillips, and Kent Colvett.
Honorary pallbearers were Marvin Cowan, Ricky Sanders, Chick Moses, Larry Chambers, David Cooke, Franklin Phillips, John Phillips, Randy Perry, and Bruce Colvett.
Visitation will be held at Ronk Funeral Home from 9-11:00 am before the service on Monday, June 22, 2020.
