GRAND JURY NOTICE 

It is the duty of your Grand Jury to investigate any public offense, which they reason to believe, has been committed or which is triable or indictable in this county. Any person, having knowledge or proof that such an offense has been committed may apply to testify before the Grand Jury subject to the provisions of Tennessee Code Annotated, section 40-12-014. The foreman for the Crockett County Grand Jury is currently Mr. Jule Nance, 549 East Park Street, Alamo, Tennessee 38001. 

The Grand Jury will next meet on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 9:00 am. You may be prosecuted for perjury for any oral or written statement which you make under oath to the Grand Jury, when you know the statement to be false or when the statement touches on a matter material to the point in question.

NOTICE OF TRUSTEE'S SALE

WHEREAS, default has occurred in the performance of the covenants, terms, and conditions of a Deed of Trust Note dated March 3, 2020, and the Deed of Trust of even date securing the same, recorded March 5, 2020, in Book No. 320, at Page 713, in Office of the Register of Deeds for Crockett County, Tennessee, executed by Chasity M Brown, conveying certain property therein described to Holmes, Rich, and Sigler, PC as Trustee for Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as beneficiary, as nominee for Colten Mortgage, its successors and assigns; and the undersigned, Wilson & Associates, P.L.L.C., having been appointed Successor Trustee by MidFirst Bank.

NOW, THEREFORE, notice is hereby given that the entire indebtedness has been declared due and payable; and that an agent of Wilson & Associates, P.L.L.C., as Successor Trustee, by virtue of the power, duty, and authority vested in and imposed upon said Successor Trustee, by MidFirst Bank, will, on April 2, 2025 on or about 2:00 PM, at the Crockett County Courthouse 1 South Bells Street, Alamo, TN 38001, offer for sale certain property hereinafter described to the highest bidder FOR certified funds paid at the conclusion of the sale, or credit bid from a bank or other lending entity pre-approved by the successor trustee. INVITATION TO BID ON USED VEHICLE

 

The Crockett County Board of Education at Alamo, Tennessee invites you to bid on a used vehicle.  Any bid, to receive consideration, must be sealed and delivered to or mailed so that it will reach the Office of the Board of Education, 403 North Cavalier, Alamo, TN  38001 on or before 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5th, 2025.  The outside of the envelope must be marked “BID ON VEHICLE”.

 

The Crockett County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the successful bidder and the judgment of the Board of Education is conclusive with respect to such determination.

 

Vehicles offered for sale:

 

1)  2008 F250 single cab 2wd 6.4 Liter diesel engine. 120,000 miles.

2)  Engine has a hole in the block. The remainder of the truck is in working order.

3) Single axle 4x10 tilt trailer

4) Tandem axle 6.4x16 trailer with broken axle.

These vehicles may be seen at the Board of Education office 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
