SUBSTITUTE TRUSTEE’S SALE

Default having been made in the payment of the debts and obligations secured to be paid by a certain Deed of Trust executed April 24, 2018 by John N. Jordan, unmarried, to Charles H. Byrd, Sr., as Trustee, as same appears of record in the office of the Register of Crockett County, Tennessee, in Deed of Trust 309, Page 446, Scrivener’s Affidavit Deed of Trust 309, Page 883, and the undersigned having been appointed Substitute Trustee by instrument recorded in the said Register’s Office, and the owner of the debt secured, Tennessee Housing Development Agency, having requested the undersigned to advertise and sell the property described in and conveyed by said Deed of Trust, all of said indebtedness having matured by default in the payment of a part thereof, at the option of the owner, this is to give notice that the undersigned will, on Thursday, November 18, 2021 commencing at 01:00 PM, at the North Door of the Courthouse, Alamo, Crockett County, Tennessee proceed to sell at public outcry to the highest and best bidder for cash, the following described property, towit:

Lying and being in the 5th Civil District of Crockett County, Tennessee and within the corporate limits of the town of Bells, Tennessee and being Lot No. 32 of Edgewood Subdivision, which is identified as Briarwood Subdivision Addition on the plat recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 15, in the Register’s Office of Crockett County, Tennessee and beginning at an iron pin in the south margin of West Tracy Street (20 feet from the centerline) and being the northwest corner of Lot 31 of the Edgewood Subdivision; runs thence with the west line of Lot 31, south 5 degrees 08 minutes 05 seconds east 134.87 feet to iron pin being the northeast corner of Lot 29; runs thence with the north line of Lot 29, south 84 degrees 51 minutes 56 seconds west 95.00 feet to an iron pin at the southeast corner of Lot 33 runs thence with the east line of said Lot No. 33, north 5 degrees 08 minutes 05 seconds West 150.00 feet to an iron pin in the south margin of West Tracy Street; runs thence with the south margin of West Tracy Street, north 84 degrees 52 minutes 15 seconds east 5.00 feet; thence following a curve to the right having a radius of 269.57 feet for a distance of 78.57 feet; thence south 78 degrees 26 minutes 08 seconds east 13.09 feet to the point of beginning, containing 0.3166 acres as surveyed by Surveying Services, Inc. 41 Heritage Square, Jackson, Tennessee 38305, RLS No. 1420, dated May 7, 1996. NOTICE OF PUBLIC INPUT MEETING

There will be a public input meeting on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 5:15 PM, 10 South Bells Street, Alamo, TN 38001, Downstairs Courtroom. The purpose of this meeting is to provide information about and seek input from the community regarding the Crocket County Transportation Alternative grant project, Crockett County Courthouse Project being designed and constructed for the community.
Attendance and input from the community would be greatly appreciated and the Crockett County urges all residents to attend. Notice is hereby given that on the 2nd, day of November 2, 2021, Letters of Testamentary in respect to the estate of Chere Carol Edwards who died Testate, were issued to the undersigned by the Probate Court of Crockett County, Tennessee.
All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or unmatured, against the estate are required to file the same with the Clerk of the above-named Court in triplicate on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2) otherwise their claims will be forever barred.
(1) (A) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting, as the case may be) of this notice if the creditor received an actual copy of this notice to creditors at least sixty (60) days before the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting); or
(B) Sixty (60) days from the date the creditor received an actual copy of the notice to creditors if the creditor received the copy of the notice less than sixty (60) days prior to the date that is four (4) months from the date of first publication (or posting) as described in (1)(A); or
