Local college athlete earns SSAC player of the week

Crockett County class of 2017 alumna, Jodi Butler, has been named Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Butler is in her third year as a Bethel University Wildcat women’s soccer player. During the week of October 28 through November 3, Butler totaled eight points on four goals in a 2-0 week for RV Bethel. She scored once in a 2-0 win over Dalton State and had a hat trick in a 4-1 win at Faulkner.

This is her first-career honor as a Bethel Wildcat.
