Lilly Yvonne McCord went to dwell with the Lord December 22, 2021 surrounded by her family. Yvonne was laid to rest December 23rd in a private ceremony at Salem Cemetery in Gadsden, Tennessee. 
She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis Andrew Rosendahl and Lilly Alma (Baehler) Rosendahl.  Also preceding her in death are her brothers, Donald Rosendahl, James Rosendahl, Richard Rosendahl, and Harold Rosendahl. 
Yvonne was born June 18, 1927 in Pontiac, Illinois.  She was a member of Convoy United Methodist Church and graduated from Tully-Convoy High School in Convoy, Ohio in 1945.  She was a member of the Psi Delta Chapter of Kappa Delta Phi sorority in Fort Wayne, Indiana where she lived and worked until marriage.  She raised her children and worked in Memphis, Tennessee before moving to Crockett County, Tennessee. She enjoyed bowling, music, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a strong, humble, and godly woman who was kind to everyone she met. She had a servant’s heart, and everyone who knew Yvonne loved her gentle spirit.  
A devoted wife and loving mother, she leaves Larry D. McCord, her husband of nearly 64 years, her sons, Larry Douglas, Nicholas and his wife Stacey, and her daughter, Barbara Burke.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ryan McCord and Hannah Burke. She also leaves her loving sister, Alice Carpenter, along with beloved nieces and nephews.
