Graveside services for Mr. Jerry Lamon Norville, 85, were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Center Cemetery in Gadsden, with Bro. Tim Rogers officiating.
Mr. Jerry Norville passed away, December 20, 2020, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born on September 21, 1935, to the late David Hershel and Laura Thelma Norville, in Gadsden.
He was a retired farmer, plumber, and electrician. He was a life-long member of Center United Methodist Church where he served for many years as a Sunday school teacher. He was also an avid Bible Scholar and spent many hours studying God’s word. He traveled for many years to support his wife, Mrs. Dean, with The Jones Family.
Mr. Norville was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gene Norville, Billy Norville.
He is survived by his wife, Dean Norville; daughters, Laurie Petty (Rusty) of Selmer; Allison Podio (Jerry) of Lakeland, Flordia; granddaughters, Ashley Smith (Jeremy) of Southaven Mississippi, Morgan Patterson (Bailey) of Milan, Marisa Podio of Lakeland, Flordia; great grandchildren, Skyler and Raiden Smith of Southaven, Mississippi.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caring staff at Bells Nursing Home and the staff at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
