Crockett County Director of Special Education, Katie Metcalf, helps many students across the county and has asked that the following information be shared for her students and their families. She has mailed this information to each student, however, occasionally there may be changes in addresses or updates that the school has not received and she wishes to ensure each student receives the assistance they need.
The first letter says:
PARENTS OF STUDENTS THAT RECEIVE SPEECH/LANGUAGE SERVICES AT THE FOLLOWING SCHOOLS:
Today, the attached information was mailed to every student that receives speech/language services at the above schools in the county.
Mrs. Jodie Scott, SLP, and Ms. Hayley Haynes, SLT, have worked diligently to set up individual speech/language classes for each of their students.
I would request any CCS speech/language student that DOES NOT receive a letter with their special class code to contact Katie Metcalf Katie.metcalf@crockettcavs.net or call 731-696-2604. Please leave a message that includes your name and phone number. I will be able to access all messages remotely and will promptly return all calls.
My department is working tirelessly to ensure all students with disabilities have access to education and services during this unique time in history. We will be reaching out to more families throughout the coming weeks. Thank you for your patience, understanding and commitment to your children. We all miss them so much!
Committed to serve,
Katie Metcalf M.Ed.
