Sale at public auction will be on February 19, 2026 on or about 11:00AM local time, at the main door of the Crockett County Courthouse, Alamo, Tennessee, conducted by the Co-Substitute Trustees as identified and set forth herein below, pursuant to Deed of Trust executed by MICHAEL MOCERI, to Charles Patterson, Attorney, Trustee, on April 6, 2023, at Record Book 345, Page 336-348 as Instrument No. 52354 in the real property records of Crockett County Register's Office, Tennessee.

Lying and being in the Tenth Civil District of Crockett County, Tennessee and beginning at a stake in the center of Carter (formerly College Street) JF Carter`s northeast corner; runs thence East 181 feet 6 inches to a stake, Mrs Lorena Carter`s northwest corner; thence South 250 feet to J.H. Chandler`s North boundary line; thence West 166 feet 6 inches to J.F. Carters southeast corner; thence North with J.F. Carter`s East line 250 feet to the beginning, containing by estimation one acre.

Being the same real estate conveyed to the Grantor by Warranty Deed of record in Deed Book 176 page 161, in the Register`s Office of Madison County, Tennessee.

GRAND JURY NOTICE

It is the duty of your Grand Jury to investigate any public offense, which they have reason to believe has been committed and which is triable or indictable in this county. Any person having knowledge or proof that such an offense has been committed may apply to testify before the Grand Jury subject to the provisions of Tennessee Code Annotated, section 40- 12-014. The foreman of the Crockett County Grand Jury is presently Jule Nance, 549 E. Park Street, P.O. Box 311, Alamo, Tennessee 38001. 

The Grand Jury will next meet on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 9:00 am. You may be prosecuted for perjury for any oral or written statement which you make under oath to the Grand Jury, when you know the statement to be false or when the statement touches on a matter material to the point in question.

CIVIL ACTION NO. 2016-DN-2

Jessica Martin has filed a Petition to Adjudicate Dependency and Neglect and for Protective Custody Order awarding temporary care and custody of M.A.R., a minor child born on 7 June 2008, Madison County, Tennessee to Michelle Nichole Bonifield, whose current location and residence is unknown.  It appears that ordinary process of law cannot be served upon Michelle Nichole Bonifield because the identity and whereabouts of the Respondent are unknown.  IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the Respondent is ordered to respond to the Petition by filing an answer to the Petition with the clerk of this Court within thirty days of the final day of publication of this notice and is ordered to appear before the Crockett County Chancery Court, Crockett County Courthouse, Alamo, Tennessee on February 17, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.; a copy of the answer must also be served, in  accordance with the Tennessee Rules of Civil Procedure, upon the attorney for the Petitioner, who is Caitlyn H. Clendenin, 322 N. Church Ave., P.O. Box H, Dyersburg, TN 38024.  A copy of the Petition may be obtained from the clerk of this Court.  If the Respondent fails to answer the Petition or appear as ordered, judgment by default will be taken against her for the relief demanded in the petition.
