Mrs. Phyllis Terry Mayfield passed away peacefully, Friday, April 8, 2022, at the Bells Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Bells, TN. She was born January 20, 1936, in Memphis, TN, to the late James Herbert Terry and Helen Hirschey Terry. She worked at South Central Bell, now known as BellSouth, as a clerical worker until her retirement. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Mayfield was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Mayfield; brothers, James Terry and William Terry; sister, Eunice Terry.
Those left behind to carry on her legacy are, her daughter, Debbie Stinnette (John); grandchildren, Blake Stinnette (Leigh), Chase Stinnette (Caitlin); great-grandchildren, Ava, Hadley, Ansley, Banks, and Finley Stinnette.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Mayfield will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, April 11, 2022, in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home. Chris Rigby will be officiate the service and burial will follow at the Alamo City Cemetery, in Alamo.
Visitation for family and friends will be held the morning of the service from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 pm.
