Mrs. Ocie Maxine Williams age 100 of Bells, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2023, at her residence. 
She was born December 31, 1922, in Haywood County to the late Will Mosier and Nora Wanton Mosier. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Harrison Williams; son, Floyd Harold Williams; three brothers Lloyd Mosier, Floyd Mosier and Lawson Mosier; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. 
Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Elaine McCall and husband James of Bells; four sons, Larry Homer Williams, Johnny Mac Williams and wife Patricia and David Michael Williams all of Bells and Claude Harris Williams and wife Janet of Pinson; daughter-in-law, Paulette Williams of Bells. Other survivors include nineteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren. 
Serving as pallbearers are David Ellington, Danny Ellington, Donny Curtis, Allen Robbins, James McCall, Scott Williams, Eddie Bushart and Jerry Crutchfield.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Williams will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023, in the sanctuary of Walnut Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Walnut Hill Church Cemetery. The Williams family will receive friends at Walnut Hill Baptist Church on Sunday, January 8, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. unitl 7:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
