A celebration of the life of Mrs. Barbara Lanier Dove, 84, was held at 3 p.m., Monday, November 16, 2020, at Oakview Memorial Gardens in Alamo, with Bro. Dennis Renshaw and Stephen Sutton officiating. The family received friends at Oakview Memorial Gardens from 2 p.m. until the Service hour.
Mrs. Barbara passed away, Friday November 13, 2020, at the Bells Nursing and Rehab Center in Bells. She was born in Maury City February 15, 1936, to the late Carl Lanier and Euna Riddick Lanier. Mrs. Barbara was a faithful member of the Cypress United Methodist Church. She and her husband Dwayne owned and operated Dwayne and Barbara Dove Farms where she was known as Boss. She truly loved her family and friends and she will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Lanier; and sister Patricia A. Graves.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dwayne Dove; her two daughters, Claudia Moore, and Angela Conley Webb (Trent); son, Butch Conley (Cindy); six grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
