Lonnie Harold Park, 80, of Friendship, Tennessee joined his heavenly Father on October 31. Harold was born August 24, 1939 to his parents, Paul and Gertrude Burke Park and had lived his entire life in Friendship.

He worked with his father on the family farm and pursued his love for farming as long as his health permitted. During this time he was elected Pork All American 1979, Soil Conservation Farm Award 1995, National Farmer of the year 1999, Regional Farmer of the year 1999 and was a Crockett County Commissioner for thirty seven years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Friendship, TN and of the Alamo Masonic Lodge #164.

Funeral services were held on Sunday November 3 at 2 P. M. at the First Baptist Church in Friendship with Dr. Jerry Drace and Stephen Sutton officiating. Burial  followed in the Bellevernon Cemetery.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his grandparents Lonnie and Ethna Park, Josie and Robert Burke, son Phil Park and great grandson Jayse Park Moore.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Clark Park of sixty two years, daughters, Doneida Harris (Lee), Cristy Evans (Scotty) both of Friendship, grandchildren, Phyllis Park Moore (Anthony), Kristalea Fincher (Adam), Elizabeth Ann Park, Jenna Christine Cherry, Austin Park Evans (Audrey) and Madison Rebecca Evans, great grandchildren, Jaxon Moore, Kason Moore, Ashton Tritt, Anna Harber and Allie Harber.

Serving as pallbearers were Chuck Fussell, Bobby Jack Stallcup, Rusty Reynolds, Gerald Rodgers, Milton Legions, Matthew Hubbard and Robert Moore. Grandchildren also served as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation was at the Friendship Funeral Home on Saturday November 2, 2019 from 5 to 8 P. M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to NOAH or St. Jude Research Hospital. Friendship Funeral Home 731-677-2673.
