Funeral services for Lela Mae Brooks, 94, Friendship were 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Friendship Funeral Home with Daniel Tillman officiating. Burial followed in Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson. Mrs. Brooks was born in Beech Bluff, TN, daughter of the late Will and Annie Mae Deen Holland. She was a retired waitress from the Lexington Inn and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was the widow of Raleigh B. Brooks. Survivors include sister, Barbar McGarity (Ray) of Friendship, sister-in-law, Mary Holland of Tigrett and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers to serve were Tim McGarity, Joshua Lewis, John Walker, Daniel Smith, Monte Walker and Marty Lewis. Visitation was at the funeral home Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time.
