Joseph Rex Edwards

Funeral Services for Mr. Joseph Rex Edwards, age 84, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Oakview Memorial Garden with Bill Harrell officiating.
Mr. Edwards passed away, Sunday, November 7, 2021. He was born on August 12, 1937, to the late William Joseph Edwards and Velma Edwards.
Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Doyle Edwards, and Donald Edwards; sisters Madeline Griffin, Doris Moncier, Billie Gene King, and Margaret Edwards.
Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife of 37 years Norma Faye Edwards; sisters, JoAnn Jackson, and Patsy Lipford; sons, Rex Edwards Jr. (Min) and Ray Joyner (Amanda); daughters, Pam Jones (David), Susan Edwards, Linda Forsythe (Donald), and Theresa Ferrell (David); grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Robin Teems, Anna Edwards, Emma Edwards, Tabita Walker (Jonathan), Leanne Thornsbury, Loiann Riley (Austin), Daphne Joyner, Craigan Joyner, and Victoria Joyner; and 12 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Johnathan Walker, Brandon Jones, David Cohen, Donnie Forsythe, Austin Riley, and Ray Joyner. Honorary Pallbearers are David Ferrell, Priestly Mayfield, and Christopher Colvett.
Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021, from 12:00 pm until 1:45 pm at the Ronk Funeral Home with the service following at 2:00 pm at Oakview Memorial Gardens.
