Curtis Lee Laman

Curtis Lee Laman, age 60, passed away peacefully, July 23, 2022, at his home, in Maury City, TN, surrounded by his family. He was born March 29, 1962, in Chicago, IL, to the late Alton Laman and Melda Ray Scroggins. Curtis worked for Maury City Utilities for many years and would still be working there if his health would have allowed him too.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Alton Laman and Melda Ray Scroggins.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his brother, Tim Laman and wife Rosie; sister, Paula Reasons and husband Ricky; nephews, Lane Laman and wife Sara, Landon Laman, Chris McHugh and wife Becky; niece, Megan Reasons; great nephews, Reece Laman, Luke Reasons, and Walker Reasons.
Funeral Services for Curtis will be held in the sanctuary of Pond Creek Methodist Church, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 1:00 pm, with Bro. Joe Hall officiating. Burial will follow at the Maury City Cemetery in Maury City, TN.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Pond Creek Methodist Church.
Pallbearers for the service are Lane Laman, Landon Laman, Chris McHugh, David Bushart, Daniel Pigue, and Jerry Riley.
