Clark Hill Cowart of Bells, TN, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2021 at the age of 79, after a brief illness.
Clark was a member of Crosswinds Church of Christ in Three Way, Tn. He was a Godly man and was faithful in daily Bible study and prayer, and had a huge influence in so many lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hill Cowart and Beatrice Eubanks, step father Ed Eubanks and great grandson, Dante Kringle.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Judy Skipper Cowart, his children Brad Cowart and wife Betty, Dana Congiardo and husband Sammy, grandchildren Daniel Wadley and wife Kayla, Jonathan Matlock, Nick Congiardo and wife Catherine, DiAmitri Valdes and husband Patrick, his great grandchildren Gavin Wadley, Hadding Wadley,Luna Wadley, Bryn Wadley, Kade Congiardo, Emberlee Congiardo, Frankie Valdes, and his brother William Eubanks.
Clark was one of the founders and first chairman of the board of Jackson Christian School. He led the steering committee with enthusiasm and optimism that JCS would be a reality for parents who wanted a better option for their children’s education. He was a solid advisor throughout the planning, speech making, fund raising and recruiting.
Having started what is now Cowart Reese Sargent, CPAs in 1975, Clark served clients throughout West Tn with integrity and excellence for over 40 years. But it was more than being an excellent business advisor that set him apart. Clark was a friend to everyone he served and was a selfless mentor to countless people who worked with him. Always one to do what was right, no matter how inconvenient, he showed all his friends and employees at CRS how to serve with integrity and love each other big. His fingerprints are weaved throughout what is CRS today.
Clark loves his family fiercely and deeply, especially his wife Judy. He taught them by words and example to put God first. He was a devoted husband, daddy and granddaddy. He was a leader and protector to his family and a dear friend to so many.
Services will be conducted at Ronk funeral home in Alamo on Tuesday, November 30th, at 2:00 pm. There will be a visitation at Ronk funeral home Monday evening from 5-8 pm.
