The Crockett Cavalier high school golf team won third in the state with a total score of 648.
Will Rawson scored 220, Cash Piatt scored 183, Ashton Elmore scored 170, Graves Campbell scored 155 and Jaden “JJ” Zimmer scored 140, earning him first place in the state.
These players have been a blessing to coach and be around,” said Coach Lyle LaRue. “We definitely have a crazy fun bunch of kids. They work hard too which shows in how far we made it. We lose a couple senior girls and a senior boy but hopefully they will get back to practice and build on this year.”
