Bells Elementary School Student Council’s theme for the 2019-2020 school year is “Be the Leader” and they have certainly lived up to it! They have been busy serving in many ways and most recently made a special trip to Bells Nursing Home. They hand delivered valentines and candy to residents while sharing lots of kind words, hugs and love. The opportunity brought home the purpose they share as a service-oriented organization and the idea that even the smallest of good deeds is appreciated. They found the service experience to be enjoyable as well as very important in helping them recognize that no matter their age they can help their school, community and world and truly make a difference.
