Bells Elementary School students posted a Veterans Day Parade on Wednesday, November 11. Veterans were invited to drive through as students sang and played music, cheered and thanked each veteran and dressed up and presented posters of their own perspective of each military branch.

NAVY- The second grade classroom represented the Navy.

Along with celebrating all veterans, the entire school took a moment to praise four of their very own veterans as Eddie Blanchard, Keith Curl, Leo Gooch and Miranda Bonds walked through the parade and observed each class’s excitement in honoring veterans.

Blanchard is a special education instructor who served in the Army from 2013 to 2016, Curl is the physical education instructor and safety coordinator who served in the Marines from 1990 to 1994, Gooch is the school crossing guard and served in the Army from 1964 to 1970 and Miranda Bonds is the business office manager and served in the Army from 1989 to 1995.
