Mrs. Ann Marie Poppenheimer Sherrod
Memorial services for Mrs. Ann Marie Poppenheimer Sherrod, age 76, was held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Walnut Hill Baptist Church in Bells, TN. Eric Taylor will be officiating the service.
Mrs. Sherrod passed away, Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital with her husband Dave holding her hand. She was born in Memphis, TN, September 12, 1945, to the late L.H. Poppenheimer and Annie Marvelle Mills Poppenheimer. Mrs. Sherrod owned and operated her own business selling Coca-Cola memorabilia.
She was preceded in death only by her parents.
Surviving relatives are her husband, Dave Sherrod; Sons, David Sherrod (Jolanda), John Sherrod (Jana); brothers, Les Poppenheimer (Pat), Poppy Poppenheimer (Tracy), Glen Poppenheimer (Laurie); Claude Poppenheimer; sister, Sue Roberts (Scott); grandchildren, Sidney Sherrod, Colton Kail, Hunter Sherrod, Landon Kail, Hayden Sherrod, Austin Sherrod, Logan Sherrod.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Walnut Hill Baptist Church the day of the service from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Mrs. Ann’s favorite charities which are St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Ronald McDonald House.
