Mr. Alton Howard Laman, age 87 of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Laman will be conducted on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 1PM in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home, with Bro. Steve Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in Babbs Cemetery in Alamo, TN.
He was born May 14, 1934, in Alamo, TN; the son of the late Lurl and Rosie Acred Laman. He was a retired driver with Northwest Tennessee Transport.
He is survived by his daughter, Paula Reasons (Rick) of Gadsden; sons, Curtis Laman, and Tim Laman (Rosie) of Maury City; grandchildren, Chris McHugh (Becky) of Anderson, IN, Megan Reasons of Bells, Lane Laman (Sara) of Brownsville, Landon Laman of Maury City; great grandsons, Lucas and Walker Reasons of Bells, and Reece Laman of Brownsville; and several extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife, Alice Laman.
The family will receive friends from 9:30AM – 1:00PM on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Alton Howard Laman.
