The Crockett County Sheriffs’ Department provided an update on Wednesday, February 19 saying, “Only takes a couple seconds to share. We are grateful for your assistance.
“The Crockett County Sheriff’s Office would like to provide an update on the missing person case we are currently investigating. We are working diligently to locate Mr. Brandon Hensley and our initial hope is that he could be found alive safely returned to his family. We have deployed all man-power and resources available to us in the region. As of the present time, we have not been able to locate Mr. Hensley.
“If you have any information including calls, conversations or texts that pertain to this missing persons case please report it to 731-696-2104. Thank you for your support for this family and the collaborative efforts of all agencies involved in this case. We will continue to work diligently to locate Mr. Hensley.”

The Crockett County Sheriffs’ Department (CCSD) along with multiple other agencies are searching for a missing man in the area of Frog Jump.
Brandon Hensley was reported missing around 9 p.m. on Monday, February 17 from Lauderdale County after he didn’t return home from work and family received concerning text messages suggesting Hensley was suicidal.
After his phone pinged in the area of Highway 88 and Johnson Grove Road, deputies with CCSD discovered his phone, clothing and other personal belongings in a vehicle.
Mobile Command was set up at Archers Chapel as CCSD, Lauderdale County Sheriffs’ Department, a K-9 tracking unit from Gibson County and other emergency personnel including search and rescue continued an extensive search of the area for Hensley.
Crockett County Sheriff Troy Klyce asks that only emergency personnel who are authorized, be in the area while the search continues.
The public is asked to stay away from the area as the search is ongoing and it is critical for the search efforts not be hindered.
