Rollover crash sends one to hospital

At approximately 3 p.m. on Friday, January 24 an accident on Highway 412 at Crossroads resulted in one being transported to the hospital.

According to Tennessee Highway Patrol, a Ford F-150, driven be an unidentified male, was traveling westbound when he exited the left side of the roadway and over corrected causing the vehicle to hit the guardrail on the right side of the road. The vehicle then rolled over multiple times before coming to a stop down the embankment on the right side of the roadway.

There was one passenger in the vehicle that was unharmed and the driver was transported to Jackson Madison County General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

  1. Most all of this story is incorrect. The driver is in the Med with very serious life threatening injuries. The passenger was taken to Jackson General. Very irresponsible reporting.

  2. Actually, the driver was air lifted to the med in Memphis with brain bleed, collapsed lung, stomach bleed and other complications.

  3. Thank you for your update on the condition of the driver. This article was written shortly after the accident while I was on scene with the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP). Once a person is transported from a scene, THP doesn’t typically receive additional reporting of a persons condition as that falls under HIPAA polices. The exception to this is if a person involved dies within 30 days of the accident. Our office is saddened to hear his condition is worse than originally reported to us, your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
