Sealed Proposals will be received by the Town of Maury City, Tennessee for collection and disposal of residential solid waste at City Hall, 332 North Broadway Street, Maury City, Tennessee 38050, on or before April 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. The envelope containing the proposal must be sealed and plainly marked “Proposal for Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Service”.
The city estimates that the number of units to be initially served under the Contract is give or take around 400 residential curbside pickups. The contractor shall provide ten extra containers storage at city at all times to replace broken containers as needed. Service must be provided once per week. The containers shall be 96 gallon rolling containers with attached lids, in as-new condition.
All collection prices shall be firm for the three-year period with a proposed method for extending for another three years. The city has the option to accept or reject the additional three-year option.
The Contractor shall at all times during the contract maintain in full force and effect Employer’s Liability, Workmen’s Compensation, Public Liability, and Property Damage Insurance.
The City Reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals regarding the collection and disposal of solid waste, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any Proposal, and to make an award in any manner, consistent with law, deemed in the best interest of the Town.
